Mean Reds, The Future, and 10 10 10 by kristin

Funny how sometimes it can be a fantastic warm day in October, and everything is really just perfect and yet you get a little attack of the mean reds; what some people might call malaise or just a momentary halt to the forward trajectory of all that’s good in life. Then it’s time to take pause in the middle of your day and get in touch with who you are at the core. They say all the answers are within, and I do believe that, but every once in awhile it’s good to remember who you are–a powerful creator of your own destiny.
I get a daily reminder in my inbox from the Abraham Hicks people and they usually have something meaningful to say about how to manifest the things we desire in life. No matter how they come to these insights, they often make sense. I like the one I got on Monday:
“…Once you access the Energy that creates worlds, a huge vortex comes into place, and there’s just not enough action for you to keep up with that. And so, what you have to do is visualize every step of the way, envision you happy in the process. Envision things in place, envision people catching on. Just envision it working. Skip over the how and the where and the when and the who — and just stay focused upon the what and the why.”
I’ve been writing the October newsletter today, and the focus is on how people create their own futures when they become students at Living Light. There are just so many success stories…sometimes even we are amazed with what our graduates do in the world. And hasn’t it happened to you at times, when you just feel happy about something you’re dreaming about, and stop worrying about how in the blue heaven it’s going to happen, that somehow a small miracle occurs?
Another way to make the mean reds fly away is to do something to make a difference. This Sunday is 10 10 10, a significant number that some enterprising people have taken as an opportunity to make a difference in Global Warming. So even if you don’t feel like you can change the world all by yourself, you can join with others to do something good for the environment. I feel happier just thinking about it.
